About Us

John Schiavone, the founder of Potomac Handyman Services holds a Bachelor of Sciene in Marketing from The University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University.

Residing in Potomac for the past 20 years, he started this handyman business 14 years ago after working as a Business Consultant in various industries for 23 years. Also, as an experienced real estate investor John has spent over 25 years repairing and maintaining his rental properties. Since 2011 John has invested in residential properties in Florida on Merritt Island near Cocoa Beach. He is passionate about working with his hands and takes great pride in his work.

Potomac Handyman Services represents an ideal way to help home owners repair or replace damaged items found in their home or on the To-Do List. PHS works with a small team of crafts people who believe in doing things right the first time without cutting corners. This approach allows both cost and quality control.

Since the founding of Potomac Handyman Services, John has served hundreds of Potomac residents while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. The goal is to develop long term business relationships by providing high quality services at a fair price. John's keeps his company small so he can maintain the highest level of quality. Listening to the client and responding to their unique needs with creative solutions has kept his clients coming back to him again and again.
